Multifunctional Training Space Furniture: Acoustic Zones, High Tables and Screen Sharing

An open training area is often asked to host presentations, group discussions and independent learning at the same time. Poorly matched furniture makes three problems visible immediately: neighbouring groups talk over each other, tables and chairs cannot follow the activity, and small corners have nowhere to put a screen. Choosing one table or one board at a time will not fix a whole training workflow.

M&W plans multifunctional training space furniture around three products, each solving one problem: mobile acoustic whiteboard cabinets for sound and visual zoning, high tables and seating with locking casters for layout changes, and training tables with integrated TV displays for screen sharing in compact areas.

Acoustic Zoning with Mobile Whiteboard Cabinets

When several groups talk at once, sound and visual activity travel across the room. Fixed partitions create boundaries but freeze the layout. A mobile acoustic whiteboard cabinet placed between neighbouring discussion areas works as a movable boundary: one face is a whiteboard for capturing ideas, the cabinet stores learning materials, and the need for separate boards and storage units disappears.

Be clear about what it does: with suitable spacing, orientation and acoustic features, the cabinet reduces sound spill, but movable furniture in an open area does not create a soundproof room. Sessions that need clean audio, such as live sharing or recording, should be placed in a quieter zone or scheduled away from active group discussions.

Sessions move from instructor presentation to team exercises. When furniture is heavy or fixed, every transition means lifting and dragging, the session rhythm breaks, and the room eventually settles into one permanent arrangement.

High tables and seating on locking casters can be brought together, separated and repositioned: clustered for team discussions, spread out for co-creation, then locked in place with circulation routes kept clear. When specifying, check three things — table height, seat height and foot support. High tables suit standing exchange and shorter discussions; longer learning sessions still need standard-height tables and chairs.

Compact training zones often have no wall for a display, a separate TV stand eats circulation space, and a laptop screen is unreadable for a group. A multifunctional training table with an integrated TV display combines the screen and the discussion surface: participants review slides, videos or project proposals around one table. Placed at the edge of an open area, it also gives self-directed learning a clear destination.

Confirm four things before specifying: screen size and viewing distance, power access, device connections, and whether the TV and casting equipment fall within the supply scope. Wherever furniture moves, allow cable slack and keep the routing tidy.
